To enlarge its company headquarters, one energy service provider decided to add two storeys to its existing building. The building work involved the construction of an impressive projecting element. During the challenging formwork construction phase, the building firm Marti turned to the Allround Shoring TG 60 solution for cost-effective “support”. Thanks to the modular system solution and matching extension parts from the proven Allround Scaffolding kit, it was possible to meet all the site’s requirements in a single system.
- Detailed 3D preliminary planning in LayPLAN CAD by Layher’s application engineers, working in close cooperation with the client – for trouble-free assembly
- Material-saving construction by extending the shoring towers
- Use of the aluminium TwixBeam as main beam for concentrated loads below the joists
- Geometric adaptations using Allround basic components: Uneven scaffolding support surface, substructure for steel beams as passageway through the site
- Bridging with steel beams to integrate the oblique building supports in the shoring – using Allround heavy-duty columns as substructure
- Enhanced safety at work by installing an Allround platform stairtower and a work platform with standard decks below the formwork
- Addition of a “protective wall” made from Allround basic components as substructure for the enclosure – to protect passers-by from falling object
Allround Shoring TG 60 can be combined with all the basic and expansion parts of the Layher Allround Scaffolding system and is therefore extremely flexible in use. For example, an enclosure was needed when constructing the formwork for the projecting element. This was installed to protect anyone in the vicinity against falling objects. The substructure for the enclosure was constructed as a system solution at the edge of the formwork using Allround basic components.
